About Daphne Power Training
I offer a wealth of experience of lecturing and training and have worked closely with a great cross section of the community through my previous employments.
Having trained as a general nurse and community nurse, I spent many years working with the most vulnerable in our society, which included people requiring extra support in training so that they could achieve qualifications and obtain gainful employment.
I hold a CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) accredited advanced qualification in Food Hygiene and NEBOSH in Health and Safety at Work.
I am a registered tutor with CIEH with a teaching qualification from the University of London to deliver their level 2 and 3 qualifications in Food Hygiene, Health and Safety at Work, The principles of Manual Handling, Risk Assessment and COSSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
I am also a complimentary practitioner in many therapies such as Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Indian head massage, and have recently qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the prestigious and internationally recognised Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London. I have also taught reflexology and massage at the local education institute in London, with students achieving high results.
As well as running courses for small groups with the minimum of two people I am also available to travel to groups, education facilities, restaurants and other organisations.
